Pre-Qualified Primary Cells

ReachBio strives to take the variability and guesswork out of the use of primary hematopoietic cells by pre-qualifying them in multiple ways in our own lab prior to use by our customers. We offer replicate vials of normal human cells from bone marrow, mobilized peripheral blood or cord blood that have been tested and pre-qualified on a number of different parameters, both phenotypic (e.g. CD34+ cell number) and functional (e.g. content of functional myeloid and erythroid progenitors using standard colony forming cell (CFC) assays). Since each batch of cells is pre-qualified using the CFC assay, a recommended plating concentration is provided with each batch of cells.

Our human mesenchymal cells have been tested for the presence of typical cell surface markers, plating efficiency, doubling times and functional capacity (in vitro differentiation to adipocytes).

By knowing the phenotypic, functional content and recommended plating concentration of each batch of cells from ReachBio, you have valuable information in hand that will allow you to standardize your primary cell assays.
