Pre-Qualified Human Cells
Historically, many biological studies have relied upon the use of immortalized cell lines due to their widespread availability, ease of generation, and homogeneity. However, there is an increasing appreciation that such transformed cell lines do not always reflect natural biological responses of normal primary human cells. There is therefore a movement towards the use of unmanipulated or minimally manipulated primary cells for a variety of biological studies. However, the variability inherent in primary cells due to heterogeneity of samples and biological variation between donors remains an issue. The use of highly characterized, pre-qualified primary cells provides a valuable mechanism towards standardizing experiments utilizing primary cells, thus allowing the power of such assays to be fully exploited.
ReachBio provides the following
highly characterized primary
