Cor.At®: Ready-To-Use Pure Cardiomyocytes
Cor.At® atrial cardiomyocytes are produced and genetically selected from mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells using cutting edge technology. They are 99.9% pure, ready to use and functionally normal. They exhibit autonomous contractility and embryonic electrophysiological and gene expression phenotypes. These transgenic cardiomyocytes
express green fluorescent
protein (GFP) reporter gene driven by a cardiac-specific promoter (α-MHC).
The cells generate
cardiac-specific connexin 43 and
show electrical coupling
demonstrated by their
synchronous contractions.
